Retail4Earth is a multi-country consortium uniting universities, research institutes, tech SMEs, retailers, and public bodies to accelerate sustainable retail. Our partners contribute strengths in AI and data science, immersive experiences (AR/VR), circular business models, human-centered design, and policy impact.

Together, we co-develop use cases, pilots, open tools, and guidance to reduce environmental impact while supporting SMEs and empowering consumers.
Our governance ensures transparency, quality, and timely delivery across all work packages.
- Executive Board (EB): Coordinator, Scientific Lead, Technical Manager, and WP Leaders; meets monthly to steer execution and resolve issues.
- Advisory Board (AB): External experts providing guidance on science, impact, and ethics; joins key reviews.
- Quality & Risk Committee (QRC): Oversees KPIs, quality reviews, and risk mitigation; maintains the risk register.
- Management Office: Day-to-day coordination, communications, and reporting.
Cadence & Tools: Monthly EB, quarterly QRC, shared dashboards, version control, and decision logs.
